Mentoring
IMPACT provides one-on-one and group mentoring services to children and young adults through matching them with caring, adult mentors who have been thoroughly screened and trained.
Mentoring Children with Disabilities: IMPACT offers a one-to-one mentoring program for youth ages 4-18 that have a known disability or exhibit behaviors associated with a known disability. Mentoring New Moms: IMPACT offers one-to-one mentoring and group support services to pregnant teenagers and young mothers through the age of 19. |

(P3) Positive Pathways Program: IMPACT offers one-to-one mentoring and group support services to young adults ages 16-24 who have been involved in the juvenile justice system. This program is designed to help young adults further their education, gain employable skills and prevent future involvement within the criminal justice system.
IMPACT mentors are male and female volunteers ages 18 and older. IMPACT recruits mentors from local universities, businesses, organizations, and other avenues in the Birmingham-area. Mentors in our program meet all of our mentor requirements, attend Mentor training, and are thoroughly screened.
